Dear Patrons of the Pumphouse Theatres,
We at the Pumphouse Theatres have been monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) escalation very closely.
Although we are fortunate enough to be able to build in preventative measures like extra cleaning and social distancing with the addition of the state of emergency enacted by the City of Calgary last night we have chosen to close temporarily until at least March 31, 2020.
We will continue to monitor the situation and make everyone aware of any changes that may impact events or activities past this date.
If you have a child in any of our spring camps & classes or have purchased tickets to the One Act Play Festival, we will be in contact with you directly to discuss your options.
You can help prevent the spread of all viruses, including coronavirus, and other infectious illnesses with just a few simple hygiene habits.
Wash your hands frequently: This is the single most effective way of preventing the spread of disease. Use hand sanitizer, when you can’t wash your hands with soap and warm water.
Catch your germs: Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze by using the inside of your elbow or your shoulder.
Avoid touching your face: In between handwashing, keep your hands away from your eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
Feeling Sick: If you are experiencing, fever, cough, difficulty breathing or other flu like symptoms, stay home and away from others and contact your healthcare provider. If you have questions or concerns about your health contact Health Link 811.
Choose alternative greetings to handshakes and high fives: try a “Foot Five” where you tap feet.
