LAURA HOLCK

I am a multi-media artist working in ceramics, metals, ink, photography and fibre. I have been an artist all my life and have simultaneously worked in other career fields, first as an electrical engineer and subsequently as a Lutheran pastor. My experience working with science and people has awakened an interest in the connectedness of all things. My artistic practice seeks to explore this inter-relatedness and the processes causing friendship, personal transformation, accountability and compassion and to express the possibility of a work that works for everyone and every living thing.
