Other mediums that she works in include drawing, digital illustration, collage and installation. Peyton’s work has been showcased recently in the EAU: 2022 exhibition by The Alberta Society of Artists and PULL 2021 at the University of Calgary. In the near future she hopes to become more involved in the art exhibition scene, in order to develop professional and critical skills for her art practice. Peyton’s practice revolves around exploring themes of mental health awareness and ecocriticism in multifaceted ways. Much of Peyton’s art practice is inspired by story narratives and children’s media. Her practice brings attention to the character and world building that we see through children’s animations and video games. This concept helps Peyton to explore issues addressing mental health in isolation, discovering identity and ecocriticism. Through her artistic and creative skills, her practice engages in bringing awareness to current social and environmental issues.
