Spring Break Drama Day Camps | Ages 7-15

Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm; March 27 – 31, 2023
Camp Fee: $325
Maximum Capacity: 30
Where every day is a little bit different! This drama camp offers a wide range of activities and drama
games, taught by a team of professional instructors. Spend the day learning a variety of new drama
lessons and skills, and throughout the week students work to develop a performance that will be
performed on the final day of camp and then shared with family and friends, allowing students to put
their new skills to practical use. Register before February 27 to receive the Early Bird discount!
WEEKEND / EVENING DRAMA CLASSES
Playful Drama
Ages 6-8

Monday 6:00pm-7:00pm; April 17 – June 26, 2023 (No class on May 22)
Class Fee: $125

This course is a great introduction to the drama basics, and covers a variety of topics including: story- telling, character, sharing, movement, and theatre games. This is a wonderful way to help your child explore their imagination, learn new skills, and have fun! No experience is required!
Creation in Motion
Ages 9-12

Explore storytelling and harness imagination through physicality. Creation in Motion will encourage creative expression through movement, choreography, mime, balance, staging, and mask. Students will learn about teamwork, gain self-confidence, and be physically active, all within a safe and engaging
environment. No previous experience is required!
Theatre Arts Exploration
Ages 9 – 12

Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm; April 15 – June 24, 2023 (No class on May 20)
Class Fee: $250
Maximum Capacity: 16
This course is an all-inclusive exploration of the theatre arts. Students will be encouraged to discover a variety of dramatic techniques such as character creation, improvisation, movement, Shakespeare, scene study, and more! Have a blast creating and performing an original final presentation for friends and family. No experience is required!
Improv for Teens
Ages 13-17

Improv is a great way to have fun and explore while bolstering creativity, adaptability, team work, and confidence. This course includes lessons in theatre sports, character development, story-telling, and many favourite improvisation games. Be inspired to think outside the box, learn something new, and have fun! No experience is required!
Acting for the Camera
Ages 13 – 17

Want to learn more about what it takes to make it in film? This class provides the opportunity for teens to learn the ins and outs of the professional film and television world. Learn the tricks of the trade when it comes to auditioning for the screen, and learn advanced acting techniques to prepare you for the profession. Previous drama class experience is encouraged.

needs.
All courses will adhere to all COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
All courses, with the exception of our customized programs and workshops, are 10 weeks in length.
All in-person classes will take place at the Pumphouse Theatre (2140 Pumphouse Ave SW) when protocols allow. Classes may be alternatively conducted online.
Register before March 15, and receive our Early Bird Discount of $25 off.
