Maya has over 20 years of experience in graphic design, with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising & Graphic Design and a Diploma in Electronic Media Design. In 2019, she focused solely on her art career, her true calling. As a self-taught artist, Maya enjoys exploring different techniques and mediums, such as watercolours,acrylics, mixed media and digital art. Her artworks are bold, vibrantand with a deep sense of joy and freedom. Currently, Maya is working towards building a vibrant community of artists who want to make a living from their art. Maya’s dedication to her art and community has started to make her known in the local arts scene. Her work has been featured locally and nationally in 16 collective art shows and three solo exhibitions.
