WANRU KEMP

Wanru is an artist currently focusing on landscape painting. Born on China’s north coast, they lived in Thailand for five years before settling in Canada with their family. While studying commercial photography at university, the Holga camera and watercolour became a favourite tool for creative expression. This submission features five Holga photographs capturing places they have lived and visited, reflecting memories and impressions, as well as a short journal of life.
