Zahra is a painter, photographer, and art instructor who is working and living in Calgary. She was born in Shiraz, Iran and moved to Canada in 2018. She has more than 25 years of experience working with diverse mediums; oil and pastel are her favorites mediums. In Iran, she participated in many provincial and national exhibitions and is currently building her audience in Calgary, Alberta. Some of her paintings were exhibited in Arts Commons, Calgary in 2022, and at Three Sister, Canmore in 2022. Zahra is the recipient of “Immigrant Distinction Award” in ‘Art & Culture” Calgary, Canada in 2022.
