WINTER EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Early Bird discount of $25 if you register and pay at least 30 days prior to the start of classes. Multi-Child discount of $25is available for families who register more than one child from the same household. All discounts are not valid with any other offers and cannot be combined with other available discounts.
WEEKEND DRAMA CLASSES
Playful Drama Ages 6-8 (Grades 1-2) @ The Pumphouse Theatre
Saturdays 10:30am – 11:30am January 11 – March 22, 2025 (No class on February 15) Class Fee: $125 Maximum Capacity: 12
This course is a great introduction to the drama basics, and covers a variety of topics including: story-telling, character, sharing, movement, and theatre games. This is a wonderful way to help your child explore their imagination, learn new skills, and have fun! No experience is required!
Theatre Arts Exploration Ages 8-11 (Grades 3 – 5) @ The Pumphouse Theatre
Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm January 11 – March 22, 2025 (No class on February 15) Class Fee: $300 Maximum Capacity: 16
This course is an all-inclusive exploration of the theatre arts. Students will be encouraged to discover a variety of dramatic techniques such as character creation, improvisation, movement, scene study, and more. Have a blast creating and performing an original final presentation for friends and family. No previous experience is required!
Sundays 10:00am-12:00pm January 12 – March 23, 2025 (No class on February 16) Class Fee: $300 Maximum Capacity: 12
This course is designed to get students feeling confident and comfortable being on stage while learning the fundamentals of acting and collaborating with others. Focus will be on exploring scripted work that students will either choose or be given, rehearse and workshop, and then perform in a final showcase. No previous experience is required!
All courses will adhere to all health and safety protocols. All courses, with the exception of our customized programs and workshops, are 10 weeks in length. All in-person classes will take place at the Pumphouse Theatre (2140 Pumphouse Ave SW) when protocols allow. Classes may be alternatively conducted online if required.
